2. Approval of Minutes of the March 22, 2004 Meeting - ACTION* (attachment 1)

3. Recommend Award of a Consultant Contract to PB Consult, Inc., for On-Call Modeling Services – ACTION* (attachment 2)

On January 27, 2005, the Authority issued a Request for Proposals for on-call consultant services for assistance with travel demand forecasting model application and development. We received bids from two teams on February 25, and assembled a selection panel comprised of representatives from the Authority, the Metropolitan Transportation Commission (MTC), and the Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority (SCVTA) to evaluate the proposals. Based on a competitive selection process, the panel made a recommendation for award of consultant contract to the team led by PB Consult, Inc. The CAC unanimously approved this recommendation. We are seeking a recommendation to award a consultant contract of $150,000 to PB Consult, Inc., the top-ranked firm as scored by the selection panel, for On-Call Modeling Services.
