2008 Regional Transportation Improvement Program (RTIP) Call for Projects
  •  Call for projects document: Describes the Authority's approach to the 2008 RTIP and provides key schedule dates.
  • San Francisco's current programming in the 2006 STIP Augmentation: This shows the most recent list of projects programmed in the STIP through 2010/11.
  • Project Nomination Sheet Template: The Project Programming Request form (formerly known as the Fact and Fund Worksheet) is the main project application document.  For the 2008 RTIP, all projects must submit a new PPR, including those that were programmed in earlier RTIP cycles.  Please contact Amber Crabbe at the Authority for pre-populated nomination sheets for those projects listed in San Francisco's 2006 STIP Augmentation. NOTE: Macros must be enabled for this form to work!

Other Guidance

  • MTC RTIP Resource Website: As the regional transportation planning agency for the Bay Area, the Metropolitan Transportation Commission (MTC) coordinates 2008 RTIP nominations from each county Congestion Management Agency (CMA) and submits the RTIP to the California Transportation Commission (CTC).  MTC adopted the Policies and Procedures for the 2008 RTIP on October 24 (MTC Resolution No. 3825).  The Policies and Procedures document lays out project selection criteria, schedule, and application procedures for the 2008 RTIP.
