3.                  Recommend Award of Consultant Contract to CHS Consulting Group, in an Amount Not to Exceed $180,000, for Planning Services for the Central Freeway and Octavia Circulation Study - ACTION* attachments

                On February 5, 2009, the Authority issued a Request for Proposals (RFP) for planning services for the Central Freeway and Octavia Circulation Study.  The study will examine existing and optimal circulation patterns of local and regional transportation system users in the study area.  By the due date of March 11, the Authority received three proposals in response to the RFP.  On March 13, the Authority issued an invitation to interview all three teams, and interviews were held on March 20. Based on this competitive selection process, the review panel made a recommendation for award of a consultant contract to CHS Consulting Group at the March 25 Citizens Advisory Committee meeting. We are seeking a recommendation to award a consultant contract to CHS Consulting Group, in an amount not exceed $180,000, for Planning Services for the Central Freeway and Octavia Circulation Study.
