13.              Amend the Municipal Transportation Agency's Market Street Calm the Safety Zone Project (Resolution 06-43, Project Number 101.910001) to Revise the Scope, Schedule and Budget - ACTION* attachment

The Authority Board considered the subject amendment at its April 28, 2009 meeting and after discussion and public input, continued the item to allow time for the Municipal Transportation Agency (MTA) and Authority staff to give consideration to a project that included a pilot of high-visibility colored pavement in the safety zone, as well as address other concerns raised at the meeting.  Since then, Authority staff has met several times and been in regular communication with MTA staff, the San Francisco Bicycle Coalition, San Francisco Great Streets, SFWalk, Livable City and the Market Street Association to develop a revised scope that address the Board's and stakeholders' concerns.  Based on those meetings, MTA has made modifications to the scope to include a pilot of high-visibility colored pavement in the safety zone, as well as making other revisions.  Attachments 1 and 2 describe the newly revised proposed amended scope and the phasing strategy, including before and after evaluation of pilot treatments.  The overall project budget remains unchanged.  We are seeking to amend the MTA's Market Street Calm the Safety Zone Project (Resolution 06-43, Project Number 101.910001) to revise the scope, schedule and budget.

14.              Status Report on the Doyle Drive Replacement Project - INFORMATION
