Update on MUNI Strategy for Prop I Implementation - INFORMATION This item was requested by Authority Chair Jake McGoldrick. On June 24, 2004, the California Air Resources Board (CARB) approved an amendment to the state's Transit Bus Rule that will allow San Francisco MUNI to replace its diesel bus fleet with less-polluting, hybrid-electric vehicles. MUNI staff will present plans for implementation of the mandates of Proposition I. Other Items 15.
