
The Transportation Authority released our 2019 Annual Report that provides a review of what the agency planned, funded, and delivered throughout the past year.
Here are some highlights from the report

The Transportation Authority completed a study that recommends safety improvements at ten South of Market intersections, where freeway ramps intersect city streets.

The Transportation Authority launched a study to explore how congestion pricing could keep traffic moving while making our transportation system safer and more equitable.

The Transportation Authority continued public outreach and advanced development of the Treasure Island Transportation Program.

According to the Congestion Management Report, transit speeds appear to be holding steady despite increased auto congestion.

The Transportation Authority convened a multidisciplinary expert peer review panel to assess the Caltrain Downtown Extension.

We funded the Vision Zero Quick Build Program to expedite pedestrian and bike safety on the High Injury Network.

Continued work on the San Francisco Transportation Plan with Statement of Needs Report and start of Streets and Freeways, Transit Corridors Studies.

The Transportation Authority continued to expand the Neighborhood Program.

We supported the purchase of new Muni Vehicles with San Francisco's Prop K half-cent sales tax for transportation.

The Transportation Authority began environmental review and an equity study for 101/280 Express Lanes and Bus Project.
