 Business outreach committee - upcoming contracting opportunities

The Transportation Authority is a member of the Business Outreach Committee (BOC), a multi-agency consortium of approximately 23 Bay Area transportation agencies with a common goal to assist small, disadvantaged and local firms doing business with Bay Area transit and transportation agencies. The BOC meets on a monthly basis to discuss outreach practices and plan for regional networking events and buyers forums, and publishes a quarterly newsletter of upcoming agency procurements and events.


 IRFP 18/19-09 WEBSITE DEVELOPMENT SERVICES

The Transportation Authority requests proposals from qualified respondents (proposers) to provide as-needed website development services for its grant management and related systems. Proposals must respond to the specific scope of services described in this Informal Request for Proposals (IRFP 18/19-09).

Questions due by February 14 at 5:00 p.m. Questions may be submitted by e-mail to info@sfcta.org, please include “IRFP 18/19-09 - Website Development Services” in the subject line. The Transportation Authority’s responses will be posted to this webpage by February 19, and any addenda to the IRFP will be made available on this webpage prior to the proposal due date.

Proposals are due electronically to the Transportation Authority to info@sfcta.org by February 28, 2019 at 2:00 p.m.

On October 24, the Business Outreach Committee (BOC), a consortium of Bay Area transportation agencies including the Transportation Authority, is hosted a free 'meet the buyers' procurement forum at the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency's offices (1 South Van Ness Avenue in San Francisco). The event was a great opportunity for small, disadvantaged, minority & women-owned businesses to network with procurement staff from various participating transit and transportation agencies and government entities.

On August 22, the Business Outreach Committee (BOC), a consortium of Bay Area transportation agencies including the Transportation Authority, hosted a free 'meet the primes' networking event at the Joseph P. Bort MetroCenter (101 8th Street in Oakland). The event was a great opportunity for small, disadvantaged, minority & women-owned businesses to network with prime construction and consultant contractors, Bay Area transit and transportation agency staff and resource partners.
