The SFMTA’s Residential Traffic Calming Program is a resident-directed program that implements traffic calming measures to reduce speeding on residential streets in San Francisco.

The San Francisco County Transportation Authority is developing the Ocean Avenue Mobility Action Plan in partnership with District 7 Supervisor and Transportation Authority Board Member Myrna Melgar to prioritize projects to improve transportation along Ocean Avenue.

Our board approved the Golden Gate Park - John F. Kennedy Drive Access Equity Study which explored barriers that exist to access the park, particularly for people living in Equity Priority Communities in Districts 3, 10, and 11.

We joined Transportation Authority Board Members, transportation leaders, and city officials to celebrate the opening of SFMTA’s Van Ness Improvement Project.

We celebrated the opening of the Presidio’s newest park, Battery Bluff. Built atop one set of Presidio Parkway tunnels and made possible by the Presidio Parkway project, visitors can enjoy beautiful trails, overlooks, gardens, picnic areas, and more.

District 7 Transportation Authority Board Member Myrna Melgar joined SFMTA and community leaders for the installation of the first 20 mph sign along Ocean Avenue.
