Market Street Goes Car-Free
Starting today, Market Street is car-free. City leaders, advocacy organizations, community members, and city agencies gathered at Embarcadero Plaza to celebrate the new car-free zone. The Transportation Authority is proud to support a car-free Market street and SFMTA’s Quick Build Program with funding through San Francisco’s half-cent sales tax for transportation.
