Safety Improvements Completed in District 6
SF Public Works completed pedestrian safety improvements in District 6 in February, including two sidewalk extensions, four new curb ramps at Jones Street and Ellis Street, and a raised crosswalk at 8th Street and Minna Street. The Transportation Authority supported with $700,000 in Prop AA vehicle registration fee funds.

New BART Fare Gates Installed at Downtown San Francisco Stations
We celebrated the completion of new next generation fare gates at Embarcadero, Montgomery, Powell, and Civic Center BART stations. The new fare gates are designed to improve safety, customer experience, accessibility, reliability, and to deter fare evasion at BART stations.
